    The late Sheikh Hassan Ali Nokhodaki was a wise and knowledgeable mystic and philosopher born in Isfahan in 1962. Hassan Ali began his growth in spiritual direction and mysticism under the supervision of Haj mullah Sadegh. Then, he went to Najaf to continue his study. He was buried in Imam Rezas holy shrine after his death.

    The Guest House of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (Peace Be upon Him) is located on the northern side of Sheikh Hur Ameli Portico. This building has four floors including kitchen, dining room, special dining room and its office which is equipped with necessary things for cooking and entertaining the pilgrims. The New Guest House with a surface area of 3800 square meters was opened in 2000.

    The first museum of Astan Quds Razavi was built in a building with an area of 1024 square meters located on Imam Khomeini Courtyard in 1945. This museum was the only museum of Astan Quds Razavi for forty years. This building undergone lots of changes and was renovated several times after the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Currently, Astan Quds Razavi’s Department for the Libraries, Museums and Archives has three offices i.e. the Office of Maintenance and Preservation of Cultural Works, the Office of Research and Introduction of Precious Objects, and the Office of Treasury supervised by Museums Affairs Deputy Office.

    Enghelab Courtyard is the oldest courtyard located on the north of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (Peace Be upon Him). From the east to the west, the area of Old Courtyard reaches to 104.38 meters and its width reaches to 64.52 meters from the north to the south. The surface of the courtyard paved with marble in regular square, hexagonal and octagonal shapes with beautiful patterns. The ado is 1.70 meters in height covered with beautiful and colorful tiles

    Fasting pilgrims pray to God to have the opportunity to visit the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH) in the Month of Ramadan. A guesthouse, located on Hedayat Courtyard, hosts thousands of these pilgrims by invitation in the Holy Month of Ramadan per year and the invited pilgrims attend Razavi Ikram Tablecloth Plan.

    Sheikh Muhammd Hassan Ibn-e Ali Ibn-e Hussein Ibn-e Ameli Mosh’ari known as Sheikh Hur Ameli was one of the relatives of Hur Ibn-e Yazid . He has many famous works due to his scientific knowledge such as a book entitled “Vasael al-Shiah” (Principles of the Shiites). The mentioned book is one of the famous and authentic reference books about the family of the Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) and discourses (more than 20000 discourses gathered from reliable and authentic books such as “Kafi’s Principles”, “Badayat al-Hadayah” and other books) quoted from Imams (Peace Be upon Them).

    Dar al-Sorour Porch with two beautiful gold doors and inscriptions leads into Dar al-Salam and Dar al-Sa’adah Porches. Dar al-Sorour Porch is surrounded by Dar al-Sa’adah Porch from the north, Dar al-Zikr and Dar al-Ezah Porches from the south, Azadi Courtyard from the east and Dar al-Salam from the west.

    Sheikh Hur Ameli Portico, built at the end of Qajar Dynasty, is the first portico constructed in the Sacred Premises with a new appearance like Olia Portico Entrance. It has undergone lots of changes during different eras. Currently, it is reaching a length of 115 meters and 29 meters in width; and its floor and dado are covered with marble and the walls are decorated with veined Qur’anic inscriptions.

    Payin Khiyaban (Navab Safavi Street) have been designed in Iran as one of the first oldest thoroughfares. It has been located between two neighborhoods i.e. “Eidgah” and “Noghan”. Today, both lines of Navab Safavi Street are full of retailers and the street and sidewalks has turned into shopping spaces.

    Sheikh Tabarsi was a wise and knowledgeable mystic, a skilful philologist, and the compiler of an interpretation of the Holy Qur’an entitled “Majma’ al-Bayan” (exegesis of the Holy Qur’an). He had lots of famous students who were the writer of the greatest Islamic books. He died at the age of 80 in Sabzevar. His sacred corpse was carried to Mashhad City and buried near the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza.

    Ishmael Drinking Fountain has been built in the middle of Enghelab Courtyard more than three centuries ago. This structure was eroded over time and the then custodian – Batman Ghelich – commanded to demolish it and a beautiful and splendid structure was rebuilt.

    Enghelab Courtyard is one of the oldest and greatest porches of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza. It has four symmetric verandas; Naderi Gold Veranda built on the south, Abbasi Veranda on the north, Clock Veranda on the western corner and Timpani Tower Veranda on the east.
Sheikh Tabarsi Portico

    Sheikh Tabarsi Portico is located on the northern side of Enghelab Courtyard. After the Islamic Revolution of Iran, this Portico became the gate for Tabarsi Street residents to come and go from the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (Peace Be upon Him).
